Hi, fellow creatives! Welcome to our issue #7
Earlier in June we shared our reflection about the state of web builders and AI at Geekle AI in Web Design Conference 23. We now have refreshed our insights on the topic. From the 21 tools we have tried, these below are our top 3. And as we know you want to spend time creating and no coding… this is for you! With love: AIforCreatives.
There are about 1.13 billion websites on the internet in 2023. Knowledge is within easy reach. Easier than ever to learn and create content. Without considering social media… have you ever thought of putting your thoughts out there? How about starting to create your first landing page?
Top 3 AI Tools
We have now 529 tools in our repository focusing on Creative tooling. Since the last time you read this, we added 9 more tools.
Framer
Framer is familiar with Product Designers. The (now) site builder has grown from an advanced prototyping tool to a full web design platform. A few weeks ago, they released a new set of AI features to generate websites through a single AI prompt. Their AI model can also generate copy and images for your web designs.
Learn more about how to use the tool in the following video tutorial. It showcases a nice prompt structure to follow. This will help you to be closer to what you want to create “in the blink of an AI”.
Have you ever dreamed of building websites in bliss? Durable allows you to generate a landing page via a simple prompt. This tool can help you to bootstrap a site with a starting layout and copy for one page. Durable provides a CRM system and invoicing capabilities as well. Helping you to manage everything around your customers’ projects in one place.
Builder
…and the future of web development is unfolding as we speak! Builder transforms Figma designs into production-ready code. Their advanced AI models output code in the most popular formats & frameworks: React, Angular, Vue, Tailwind, HTML...
Builder syncs with your local code components and can generate code with AI. They added support for Mobile App development and more otherworldly features. Check out their latest feature release announcements. This can be a revolution in Product Development so we encourage you to play with it now!
10 AI topics to share with your pals
Talking about the web, Web Summit is one of the stars in the conference's European agenda. 70000+ attendees! The topic: CEO Paddy Cosgrave stepped down from his role, as a consequence of his comments. Here are Cosgrave’s apologies for the due consequences of his comments. No comments from us.
Bored of spending time in front of the screen? How will we consume the web in the future? What about Humane AI Pin as an evolution of screen-less devices?
We believe in equal opportunities for EVERYONE. Bias is a topic that you should care about. A very good friend of ours shared (he got it here) the excellent initiative on this topic by Heetch. Ro visualize the issue in relation to Midjourney data sets. OpenAI Data Partnerships is a positive contribution to the topic.
OpenAI keynote anyone? GPTs are here to stay. You can create custom versions of ChatGPT for a specific purpose. It took only 4 minutes for Sam Altman to showcase how is done!
Kosmos-2: A large language model released by Microsoft can identify what is inside the images. This model can help you understand what AI sees in an image so you can use this to create better prompts. Select & drop an image and try it!
LCM-LoRA is a fresh new paper to allows real-time consistent generations using Stable Diffusion models. You can try it now even in Krea. Learn more in this thread by @javilop to check the speed of the results!
News outlets used AI-generated images on the Israel-Gaza war from Adobe stock without indicating their AI origin. In Adobe Stock you can search & browse a mix of real and user-generated AI images. Adobe’s content policy states when a downloaded image has been generated using AI. Yet, some media companies did not inform their readers. A clear signal of why we need better regulation for AI.
Arc, a cutting-edge web browser released a new set of AI features: 5-second previews, Tidy tab titles, Tidy downloads, ChatGPT in the command bar, and Ask on page. Are they all really worth it? We are 100% sure that everyone wants to tidy their tabs.
Be careful with everything you share online. This AI awareness video is a great reminder of the importance of why you need to check any text, image, or video you share online before making it public.
MidJourney recently released a new feature called style tuner. It allows you to generate a diverse set of styles from a single prompt (that you can use for future prompts). Experiment and blend styles with each other. A web of possibilities! Check out this video tutorial to learn more.
